Adaptability
Our devices can adapt to your current LEEP/LLETZ system.
Turn your existing smoke evacuator into a smoke and fluid suction system. Our Smoke-Evac Fusion technology will adapt and connect to any LEEP/LLETZ system that you already have. There is no need for new equipment boxes to use our products.
Each different LEEP/LLETZ System includes an electrosurgical unit and a smoke evacuator. The following demonstration shows how our Smoke Evac Fusion tubing and electrodes are connected to these different systems. If your system is not pictures, please reach out to us for any additional information needed for attachment (800)459-1389, (717)379-8606

1) Connect the suction connector on the shorter end of the Fluid Catch Tubing Kit to the 3/8” (9.5 mm) port on the front of the Smoke Shark II (same as Buffalo Filter ViroVac or ConMed ClearView). Smoke Evac Adapter 14-4200 may be used to maximize flow (picture 1 and 2).
2) Attach the handpiece connector on the opposite end of the Fluid Catch Tubing Kit to the distal end of the handpiece (picture 3).
3) Place the sterile electrode tip into the handpiece through the attached adapter (picture 4 and 5).

1) Connect the shorter end of the Fluid Catch Tubing Kit to the adapter on the top of the “top hat” prefilter (picture 2).
2) Attach the handpiece connector to the distal end of the handpiece (picture 3).
3) Place the sterile electrode tip into the handpiece through the attached adapter (picture 4 and 5).

1) Remove the corrugated tubing from the Utah grey filter (picture 1 and 2).
2) Connect 14-4200 smoke evac adapter to the Utah grey filter (picture 3).
3) Connect the shorter end of the Fluid Catch Tubing Kit to the 14-4200 adapter once attached to the grey filter (picture 4).
4) Attach the handpiece connector to the distal end of the handpiece (picture 5).
5) Place the sterile electrode tip into the handpiece through the attached adapter (pictures 6).

1) Place the “red” Acu-Evac adapter 13-7000 into the TX Nozzle
2) Connect the shorter end of the Fluid Catch Tubing Kit to the port on the Acu-Evac Adapter (picture 3).
3) Attach the handpiece connector to the distal end of the handpiece (same as Bovie, Cooper, and Utah).
